How does the literature of California tell us who we are? This free conference examines the literature of our state from north to south- from immigration to innovation, from the desert to the coast, exploring poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and print and digital forms. The Library Foundation joins the Los Angeles Public Library, the USC-Huntington Institute on California and the West, the San Francisco Public Library, Friends of the San Francisco Public Library, and Fora.TV to present a dynamic two-day conference spotlighting the writers who help define California as a state with a language, culture, and aesthetic all its own.
All programs will be made available on video within 24 hours after each session thanks to Fora.TV
