About Something in Common:
In partnership with the Los Angeles Public Library, the Library Foundation of Los Angeles is pleased to present Something in Common, a major exhibition at downtown Los Angeles’ Central Library and a city-wide program series all about the ways we connect with others. Curated by LFLA’s Special Projects Director Todd Lerew, this project is a timely examination and celebration of the ideas, interests, and beliefs that bring us together, the ways we find and form community, and what we can create or accomplish collectively that isn’t otherwise possible.

Featuring unique social clubs and organizations that include the Los Angeles Black Underwater Explorers, the Cloud Appreciation Society, and LAPL’s own Adult Literacy program and Persian Poetry Forum, among many others, we will highlight the importance of finding common ground and points of connection, and recognize the Public Library as a critical and safe gathering place for all Angelenos. Learn more and explore here.
