In this second edition, a post-Valentine’s Day special, we explore love at the movies. We review the filmology of romance, recall a few of Hollywood’s true romances with home movies pulled from the Academy Film Archive, take stock of some of last year’s best (and overlooked) films and take note of a few upcoming films you might fall for in 2014. We visit with a group of movie-lovers who are passionate about showing movies around LA.

And we’re joined by Stacie Passon whose remarkable debut feature, Concussion , offers a rich, complex exploration of love and marriage. Released by Radius TWC last fall, it’s currently available on Netflix streaming, Amazon, iTunes and nominated for the “Best First Feature” Independent Spirit Award. Lost & Found at the Movies is the Library Foundation’s new series celebrating the art of cinema and the vitality of film culture. Eclectic in theme and varying in form, this onstage magazine explores how we lose ourselves and find ourselves at the movies. Admission is free and space is limited, so make your reservations early.
