Lauren Groff will be in conversation with Julie Robinson, discussing her evolution as a writer, her bestselling trilogy of novels including The Vaster Wilds, and her recent opening of an independent bookstore, The Lynx, which has an emphasis on banned books.
The Vaster Wilds, being released in paperback this October, follows a spirited servant girl who escapes colonial settlement, venturing into uncharted wilderness where her beliefs are challenged in a thrilling, prophetic adventure. This work tells the story of America in miniature, through one girl at a hinge point in history, to ask how—and if—we can adapt quickly enough to save ourselves.
