Jibade-Khalil Huffman

Jibade-Khalil Huffman is an artist and writer based in Los Angeles. He is the author of two books of poems, 19 Names For Our Band and James Brown is Dead. His projects have been exhibited at MoMA/PS1, Public Fiction, Scaramouche and Samuel Freeman Gallery, among others. Educated at Bard College, Brown University and USC, his awards include the Grolier Poetry Prize, the Jerome Foundation Travel Grant and fellowships from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and Millay Colony for the Arts and more. Huffman is included in the Hammer Museum Los Angeles Biennial, Made in LA 2014.
