He’s one of the nation’s top political reporters and has covered several campaigns, including Hillary Clinton’s U.S. Senate run, the reelection of President George W. Bush and President Obama’s historic election. He previously worked as White House correspondent for USA Today, covering Bill Clinton’s 1992 presidential campaign and the first year of the Clinton White House.
