Support the LAPL Palisades Branch Recovery Fund

Give the Gift of the Library This Holiday

Whether you’re a young Angeleno exploring new horizons, or someone starting over, the Los Angeles Public Library (LAPL) is where your story can begin. Through its 72 branch libraries, the LAPL serves as a haven for knowledge, connection, and opportunity for more than three million people every year.

With the support of the Library Foundation of Los Angeles, life-changing opportunities abound throughout our city with essential free services and innovative programming—from teen civic engagement projects to digital literacy initatives. Because, our libraries are more than just books. We believe in the power of the LAPL to fuel dreams, transform lives, and strengthen our communities.

The Library is essential—and so is your support.

Make a gift by December 31, and your donation will be matched, up to $50,000, thanks to the Harold and Colene Brown Family Foundation!
