Respected legal scholar Erwin Chemerinsky returns to the ALOUD stage for a timely discussion on constitutional law. As the state of our democracy is being undermined by a president that behaves more like an autocrat—what does this mean for our constitution, our home, our land? Chemerinsky, the Dean of Berkeley Law and the Jesse H. Choper Distinguished Professor of Law, has taught at law schools across the country from the University of California, Irvine to Duke, USC, DePaul, and UCLA. He is the author of eleven books, including leading casebooks and treatises about constitutional law, criminal procedure, federal jurisdiction, and most recently, We the People: A Progressive Reading of the Constitution for the Twenty-First Century. Listen in to this fascinating conversation with one of today’s leading authorities in legal education about how politics in America is redefining our laws—or lack thereof.
