Please join us for an exclusive tour for Council Members of No Prior Art: Illustrations of Invention, a thought-provoking exhibition at the Central Library that explores the intersection of art, science, and innovation. Led by exhibit curator and Library Foundation Director of Special Projects Todd Lerew, the tour offers unique insights into the nature of human creativity and celebrates the inventive spirit. Also enjoy brunch in the Library Rotunda—all before the Library opens to the public!

Todd Lerew

Todd Lerew is Director of Special Projects for the Library Foundation of Los Angeles, curating exhibitions and programs in support of the Los Angeles Public Library. He is the author of Also On View: Unique and Unexpected Museums of Greater Los Angeles (Angel City Press, 2024) and creator of the everymuseum.la website. He is a composer of experimental music and inventor of acoustic instruments such as the Quartz Cantabile, which converts heat into sound. He was winner of the 2014 American Composers Forum National Composition Contest and received the 2022 National Outstanding Eagle Scout Award. Todd holds a BFA from Hampshire College and an MFA from CalArts, and has served as a volunteer Fire Lookout in the San Bernardino National Forest since 2016.

Stacy Lieberman

As President and CEO of the Library Foundation of Los Angeles (LFLA), Stacy Lieberman is an innovative and inclusive leader whose career dwells at the intersection of arts and culture, lifelong learning, storytelling, and equitable access.
