While writing and dancing are thought to originate from opposite sides of the brain, these three veterans of the dance world bridge that gap, discovering new ways to bring words and movement together. United on the same stage to explore these forms, Perron, former editor of Dance Magazine , will read from her new book, Through the Eyes of a Dancer ; Forti, known internationally as a pioneer of postmodern dance, will perform one of her trademark “News Animations;” and dancers Alexx Schilling, Willy Souly and percussionist Joe Westerlund will perform choreographer Vic Marks’ new duet, “Solar Duplex.”
