The Palisades Branch Library has long been a cornerstone of civic life in Pacific Palisades, serving as a place of learning, connection, and inspiration. For many, it holds cherished memories—story times, research projects, and quiet afternoons—that span across lifetimes and generations of patrons. Following the devastating wildfires and the loss of the Palisades Branch Library, the Library Foundation of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Public Library (LAPL) have established the LAPL Palisades Branch Recovery Fund to ensure that this vital community institution will not only return but will be even better positioned to meet the future needs of this resilient community.
Your donation will support the long-term recovery and rebuilding of the Palisades Branch Library, in partnership with the Pacific Palisades Library Association. This may include the following:
Your gift ensures that the library can return stronger, more responsive, and ready to meet the needs of today and tomorrow. Together, we can rebuild, recover, and bring hope back to our community. Thank you for standing with us during this time of need.
If you’re interested in making a more significant impact or supporting this initiative in another way, please contact Alex T. Nguyen, Director of Major and Planned Giving, at alexnguyen@lfla.org or (213) 292-6268.
While we appreciate the many offers of donations, we are unable to accept books, supplies, and other materials at this time.
