The devastating wildfires in Los Angeles have not only impacted our communities, they have also directly affected members of our Los Angeles Public Library (LAPL) family. Several dedicated library staff have lost their homes and personal belongings, yet they continue to serve and support the community during this difficult time.
Your donation can make a real difference in helping our library staff rebuild their lives. Funds will be distributed to staff impacted by the fires, and to provide library staff with relief for future disasters. Contributions will assist with:
By contributing to this fund, you’re not only helping those who have tirelessly served our community but also showing gratitude and compassion for their invaluable dedication. Your support honors the resilience and dedication of LAPL staff, helping them rebuild their lives while continuing to serve the Los Angeles community.
We have also established the LAPL Palisades Branch Recovery Fund to address immediate needs and ensure that we continue to provide vital resources and services to the community.
Together, we can make a difference.
