Why Choose to Love?

This podcast presents a lecture by the lauded author, theorist, and social activist bell hooks presented at the Los Angeles Public Library in 1999.  The lecture was a part of “The Big Questions” series, a celebration of writing, reading, and public debate featuring visionary thinkers in the arts, sciences, and humanities asking important questions, challenging accepted theories, and reframing ancient dialects.
