For 38 years, the Stay Home and Read a Book Ball has brought readers across Los Angeles together in support of the Los Angeles Public Library. This year’s Centennial Edition marks a defining moment, honoring 100 years of Central Library and its enduring role as a cornerstone of learning and civic life.

From now until Sunday, April 12, 2026, take part in a tradition where the simple act of opening a book becomes a meaningful expression of generosity that empowers communities across our city.
