For 100 years, the Richard J. Riordan Central Library has stood at the heart of Los Angeles—a beacon of knowledge, imagination, creativity, and opportunity. Now, as the signature event of the Centennial Celebration, the Library Foundation of Los Angeles is proud to host its first-ever Gala—an unforgettable evening honoring extraordinary individuals, celebrating the enduring power of storytelling, and helping launch the Library’s next century of impact.
Set against the stunning backdrop of historic Vibiana in Downtown Los Angeles, the Gala will bring together civic, business, philanthropic, entertainment, and cultural leaders to honor those whose work has shaped culture and expanded opportunity while raising critical funds to advance literacy, lifelong learning, digital equity, cultural programming, and free public programs serving millions of Angelenos.
