The Overground Railroad – Member Reception
7:00pm | ALOUD Program
8:15pm | Member Reception
Members and guests are invited to a post-program reception with hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and the chance to connect with the speakers. The program highlights the history of the Green Book and its role in guiding Black motorists, drawing on Candacy Taylor’s book and the Library’s significant collection. As we commemorate 100 years of Central Library, the evening offers a meaningful moment to reflect on the histories preserved—and the stories still being stewarded—for future generations.
