Health Matters improves the health and wellbeing of Angelenos by providing access to education, literacy, outreach, and appropriate preventative and early intervention services.
Working in partnership with leading non-profit and governmental health organizations, Health Matters helps people access health insurance. Other services include hypertension screenings, obesity prevention courses, healthy lifestyle workshops, autism awareness events, Alzheimer’s education, mental health and suicide prevention, flu clinics, case management and health screenings for the homeless.
