After a vote by the YL membership, we’re excited to announce that the funds raised at this year’s Toast will support the Lifelong Learning umbrella of programming at the Library, including:

  • Adult Literacy Services, providing one-on-one English-language tutoring and workshops for adults;
  • Career Online High School, a fully accredited high school diploma program;
  • Health Matters, offering those experiencing homelessness direct access to a network of social service providers, as well as wellness classes and health screenings for all Angelenos;
  • Full STEAM Ahead, a series of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math workshops for all ages.

Tickets are on sale now! This event sells out every year, so don’t delay. Over the years, we’ve enjoyed readings, comedy, and music from Andrew Bird, Baron Davis, Mark Duplass and Katie Aselton, Chelsea Handler, Kumail Nanjiani, Constance Wu, and more.
