On Saturday, October 15, 2022, generous donors and community leaders will gather for the 30th Anniversary of the Library Foundation of Los Angeles at our Literary Awards Celebration honoring longtime supporters, Amanda and Shepard Fairey, and award-winning author, A. Scott Berg.

 

We are thrilled to present the 2022 Light of Learning Award to Library Foundation supporters, Amanda and Shepard Fairey, as well as the 2022 Literary Award to Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer, A. Scott Berg. The evening will feature special guests, highlight Library programs, and much more. Invite your friends and make your way to The California Club to honor these invaluable contributors, as well as 30 incredible years of fulfilling the Library Foundation of Los Angeles’ mission.

Stacy Lieberman

As President and CEO of the Library Foundation of Los Angeles (LFLA), Stacy Lieberman is an innovative and inclusive leader whose career dwells at the intersection of arts and culture, lifelong learning, storytelling, and equitable access. Stacy guides the Foundation’s philanthropic and public-facing priorities to serve the Los Angeles Public Library, embracing the notion that libraries are beacons of democracy where everyone is welcome. Building on an early career in book publishing, she has dedicated her professional life to sharing stories and broadening the reach of public institutions to welcome visitors and students of all ages and backgrounds to experience educational, arts, and cultural opportunities.
